Emergency Support
SQL Server Emergency Support
Is your SQL Server offline, crashing, or unresponsive, and you need immediate SQL Server Emergency Support to address critical downtime?
When your database goes down, every minute impacts your business operations and increases operational pressure. During a critical outage, there is little time for trial-and-error troubleshooting or researching cryptic error codes or guessing which system files might be corrupted. Using our rapid, entirely offline triage methodology, we focus quickly on what matters, analyze your emergency logs, and provide your internal team with clear, evidence-based guidance and example commands intended to help stabilize the system while minimizing additional operational risk.
This SQL Server Emergency Support is designed to provide rapid diagnostic clarity during critical incidents.
Overview
A rapid, DBA‑led emergency triage designed to rapidly identify the most probable issue and guide stabilization of your critical infrastructure. When you book a SQL Server Emergency Support engagement, it is treated as a priority response.
Within 2 hours of confirmed booking, we begin reviewing the emergency SQL Server error logs, system dumps, and metadata you provide for offline analysis. We focus on rapid diagnostic analysis rather than lengthy consulting workshops; we identify the most probable cause and provide targeted guidance with example T-SQL where appropriate so your internal IT team can review and apply the recommended actions within your own environment and change-control procedures.
This service is a fixed-scope emergency diagnostic focused on rapid identification and stabilization guidance. It does not guarantee full system recovery or complete issue resolution.
Who Benefits from SQL Server Emergency Support
IT Managers and infrastructure teams handling critical SQL Server incidents rely on this service when the database is offline or unstable, internal expertise is limited, or immediate guidance is required without granting external system access during a crisis.
Included Deliverables
When you initiate an emergency triage, this engagement is treated as a priority response:
- 2-Hour SLA (Business Hours): We acknowledge your crisis and begin analyzing your emergency data exports within 2 hours of receiving your exported data, strictly during operating hours (Mon–Fri, 08:00 to 18:00 Brussels time).
- Primary Issue Identification (best effort): Rapid identification of the most probable issue affecting database availability (e.g., corrupt boot pages, suspect databases, deadlocked system processes, or severe drive failures).
- Stabilization Guidance and Example T-SQL: Example recovery commands intended to assist stabilization efforts.
- Live Advisory: Direct communication with your infrastructure team to help them understand the recommended next steps.
- This SQL Server Emergency Support engagement covers up to 4 hours… Any additional work requires explicit approval and separate quote.
What We Don’t Do
This service is focused on rapid diagnostic guidance and stabilization analysis, not long-term operational support. Even in a crisis, we adhere to strict boundaries to protect your data and maintain a focused emergency response process:
- No Production Access: We never ask for your
sapasswords, VPN access, or Remote Desktop logins. - No Hands-on-Keyboard Recovery: We supply remediation scripts (adhering to strict Microsoft disaster recovery protocols); your internal team executes and bears responsibility for any outcomes for typing the commands and executing them on your servers.
- Data Loss Limits: We guide you on the safest way to bring the database online or extract data, but we cannot recover data that was permanently lost or corrupted before the engagement began and was destroyed before we were hired.
- No Open-Ended Retainers: This is a focused, capped emergency intervention, not a blank check for days of endless troubleshooting.
Results and What to Expect
- Rapid Situation Assessment: Understand the most likely cause of the issue and the safest actions to stabilize your environment.
- Reduced Operational Impact: Reduce operational disruption and help accelerate informed recovery decisions.
- Clear Post-Mortem Path: After the initial stabilization, you will receive findings regarding the most probable root cause and what needs to be fixed permanently to prevent a recurrence.
Not a Total Emergency?
If your server is still online but users are experiencing severe application timeouts, please book our standard SQL Server Performance Triage. If your system is experiencing sudden but temporary reboots, see our SQL Server Crash Diagnostic. For proactive prevention after an outage, we highly recommend scheduling a baseline SQL Server Health Check once the immediate fire is out.
Emergency Triage Investment
When your database is down, every minute costs your business money. We prioritize emergency engagements to provide rapid diagnostic response.
| Service Level | Response Target | Price |
| Emergency Triage | Within 2 Hours (Business Hours) | 3.400 € |
Payment terms
- One‑time fee: 3.400 € (excl. VAT).
- Payment: Payment: 50% prepayment required via credit card/Bankcontact to initiate the SLA; balance due on delivery. The 2-hour clock begins ONLY upon receipt of the requested diagnostic data, and ticks strictly during business hours (Mon–Fri, 08:00 to 18:00 Brussels time). Requests or data submitted outside these hours are processed immediately at 08:00 the next business day.
- Service availability depends on current scheduling capacity and confirmation of engagement.
This fee covers the initial emergency diagnostic engagement (up to 4 hours of support, including offline analysis and guidance). Additional time, if required, is only provided with explicit approval. If additional work requires days of ongoing architectural rebuilds, we will first provide stabilization-oriented diagnostic guidance and quote a custom recovery engagement. (All prices exclude VAT).
